Halloween is just around
the corner so it's time to think about some healthy alternatives to
snack on:

Quaker
Granola Bars
with 25% Less Sugar. Try the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk with
100 calories, 3 grams of fat, 0 trans fat, and 5 grams of
sugar. A healthier sweet treat.

Goldfish Crackers
1 oz. snack bag with 130 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 0 trans
fat, and Less than 1 gram of sugar.

Mini Pretzels .5
oz. snack bag with 50 calories, 0 fat, and 0 sugar. A great
Halloween Treat.

Lowfat Animal Crackers
.5 oz. snack bag with 60 calories, 1 gram fat, and 3 grams
sugar.

Dark Chocolate
in small amounts is a delicious source of antioxidants. Try
Hershey Nuggets or Kisses, 3 to 4 pieces is a serving.
Remember, the darker the chocolate, the better as it has the
least amount of additives.

Suckers
are usually a
better choice, select those with approximately 50 to 60
calories, 10 grams of sugar, and 0 fat. Tootsie Roll Pops are a
tasty treat that meet these guidelines.

Sugarless Gum
is always a good choice with less than 5 calories per piece, 0
fat, and 0 sugar.

Watch those so called healthy
cookies/treats that are deceiving.
A small package of Snackwell Creme Sandwich cookies have 210
calories, 5 grams of fat, and 18 grams of sugar-the most sugar
of all our examples.
